My name is Donna. My birth date is 04/07/1949 at 11:35 am, Oak Park, Illinois. And yes, I had a difficult time adjusting to the repartitioned astro-sky globe. But I'm here to tell you, it can be done.

A voracious reader and good student from childhood, I began my spiritual/metaphysical studies in 1970 with a correspondence course in astrology from The Rosicrucian Fellowship at Oceanside, CA. From there I went on to self-study in Spiritual Tarot, Qabalah, Hermetics, Spiritual Alchemy, and a host of other subjects and disciplines from Alice Bailey and Ascended Masters to Aleister Crowley including forays into the Native American Sacred Path, numerous world religions, myth, legend and history of cultures in both recorded and pre-recorded history, on and off-planet. My studies have also included smatterings of some earth and sky sciences -- biology, chemistry, anthropology, archaeo-astronomy, mineralogy ... yadda yadda yadda. I'm pretty much a Jill-of-all-Trades. I like to know how everything fits together in a general way. Usually that's enough to fill in the bigger picture. If you find a need to go back and add detail, you just check the mental card file catalogue (or your Internet Bookmark file).

I consider myself to be "spiritually eclectic," taking what wisdom I find that resonates, and understanding as to the rest that life is a giant indoor-outdoor shopping mall. Sometimes there's an outfit that's tailor-made for you and you've just got to take it home, and sometimes you wind up returning a garment that just doesn't fit right once you get it home and try actually moving around in it.

A former legal secretary/paralegal "with family" and my fair share of "normal life" accomplishments, my get-serious "wake up call" came in 1987 after I quit my job intending to do astrology full time. But something about the events following Harmonic Convergence changed my field of view literally overnight. In the process of assembling my presentation materials in a book store I happened upon a sky atlas. This led me to discover constellation Ophiuchus walking across the Ecliptic Plane. My primary focus was then and there derailed by my own sense of logic and critical thinking; I shifted gears. I never stopped to become a professional astrologer. After what I found I didn't feel qualified anymore. I found myself officially on a Quest to Revive Ophiuchus.

In and amongst my post-law office career adventures, I acquired and co-owned a metaphysical shop for two years between 1991 and 1993. So life was literally a metaphysical candy shop for me for the length of my sabbatical from the traditional working-for-a-living grind. I had lots of resources to tap before leaving the meta shop; by that time (Spring 1993) the advent of the Internet had dawned and there were other fields to farm for information on Ophiuchus -- and an open forum for sharing what I had uncovered.

In 1993 my "orders were changed" and I was moved from San Diego to the Desert Hot Springs-Palm Springs-Palm Desert area (long story) and I ended up going "back to school" to change careers - just in time to catch the community college wave of the Information Superhighway Boom. I was in my second year when the new Intro to the Internet (non-accredited) class was added. I became the college's first student webmaster and held that spot until I graduated.

I came away from my "back to school" phase with two AA degrees in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems from College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and Honors.

I live in a desert where computer tech jobs are as scarce as water but as it turns out I managed to land a job even before my last summer vacation was over (I had to struggle to be grateful). I'm currently hanging on to my job as a database programmer but I don't think they're going to be able to count on me much longer ... my spiritual group projects are heating up and the Call of the Wild Universe has been keeping me up too many nights since I returned from Vernal Equinox at Sedona. What an Ophiuchus Fest that was!

FLASH - since originally writing this page my job situation has changed dramatically. My 7 Chariot Soul Path return year began on my birthday and the following week (count the weeks since Vernal Equinox) my position at work was "eliminated." Moral of the story: have a plan firmly in place BEFORE you seed an intent into the Sedona Vortexes !! Fortunately all is well and I am now quite happily ON MY PATH!

I continue to research Ophiuchus and spend a lot of time coordinating with other new age earth-sky grid light workers. I participate in two spiritual women's groups, a mystery school group, and a group I call The Star Tower where we share about the earth and sky in relation to the new astro-paradigm. This group is open to serious researcher-students.

I have also recently networked with a great group of spirit-souls spanning America on a quest to form a network of intentional communities we call Aur Healing Center Communities. This group is also open to serious like-minded people and organizations.

Thanks for visiting my web site. Take what you like of  my web site offerings - I give them freely. Let the rest go. Contact me if you have any questions or would like to swap Ophiuchus details.
